Description
Markus Copper, Jari Haanperä and Kimmo Schroderus fill space totally in their joint exhibition, Horror Vacui. The pieces are a fusion of traditional craftsmanship and technology, melded in an extraordinary way and stretching the boundaries of sculpture and media art.
Horror vacui refers to a fear of empty spaces. The artist´s objective is to utilise Kiasma´s exhibition space on both a concrete and emotional level. Even without knowing the actual meaning of the title, the term “horror” gives the viewer the right idea. -Berndt Arell-
