The book takes the reader on a Surrealist Journey through the Night Train exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art. The articles and magnificent illustrations, cast light on the legacy of Surrealisn in contemporary art. Links between the Surrealists and contemporary artists are explored, for example, in terms of their shared points of interest. A mode of seeing that departs from ordinary perception, contemporary experiences of strangeness, extreme mental states, the association of chance and beauty with uncanny, all express the different dimentions of the exhibition works.
