Rolando and Siv Pieraccini donated to the Finnish National Gallery a collection of prints and drawings by 17th-century Venetian masters Giovanni Battista Tiepolo (1696–1770) and his sons Giovanni Domenico (1727–1804) and Lorenzo (1736–1777), collected by the Pieraccinis over the course of four decades. The collection comprises 71 etchings and four drawings.
Each work in the remarkable collection is presented in the book with illustrations and short texts. The volume also includes an introduction by Italian Tiepolo expert Benedetta Spadaccini and biographies of each if the Tiepolos. The book is edited by Dr Hanna-Leena Paloposki, Senior Researcher at the Finnish National Gallery.
