Deck of Arts 1

Let art inspire conversations and creativity!

Designed by Ateneum’s public programmes’ professionals, Deck of Arts 1 includes 60 laminated image cards featuring masterpieces from the Ateneum’s art collection. These art images are an easy and inspiring way to spark interaction and creativity. Deck of Arts 1 can be used alone or in a group setting.

Deck of Arts 1 is a long-time favorite at our museum shop. It offers a fun way to explore beloved artworks—providing engagement and experience for all ages, whether alone or together. Dozens of questions and activity ideas spark new perspectives, evoke emotions, and inspire conversations. The cards encourage participants to look closely, discuss art, share their thoughts, and reflect on life.

The first edition of Deck of Arts 1 was published in 2013 and now Deck of Arts 2 is also available! These cards can be used in a variety of ways— to play games, write, or draw based on the images.
