Shipping policy

1. Registration

Registration is not required for ordering. Customers who choose to may register with the Finnish National Gallery’s customer registry (personal data file) by supplying the required information. An e-mail address is required to subscribe to the newsletter for the Finnish National Gallery’s online shop. The newsletter is sent approximately once a month and it entails information on new events, products, exhibitions and offers.

2. Order confirmation

Once an order has been received, an order confirmation shall be sent to the e-mail address provided by the customer. The binding purchase agreement shall enter into force once the Finnish National Gallery’s online shop has sent an email on the advancement of the order (comes after the order confirmation). The Finnish National Gallery reserves the right not to supply a product if the stock quantity was incorrect. In such cases the order shall be cancelled and the customer reimbursed for any payment already made for the product in question.

3. Prices

The prices are valid only when ordering from the Finnish National Gallery’s online shop and may differ from the prices in museum shops. The Finnish National Gallery reserves the right to amend prices. All listed prices include the possible VAT.

4. Delivery

If a product is in stock, the order shall be sent without delay. The delivery time within Finland is usually 2 to 4 workdays from the moment the order is received.

The delivery charge for each delivery within Finland is 5 euros delivered to the nearest post office or 15 euros delivered to the customer’s home address. There is no delivery charge if the customer picks up the order from the Ateneum Shop by selecting “Pick up from Ateneum shop” as the delivery method. Orders over 50 euros are delivered free of charge in Finland.

The delivery charges to foreign countries are:

Zone 1: 15 €.

Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Germany, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Sweden, Slovakia, Slovenia and Spain.

Zone 2: 25 €.

Albania, Andorra, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Hertzegovina, Cyprus, France, Greece, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Norway, North Macedonia, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Switzerland, Ukraine, United Kingdom and Vatican.

Zone 3: 45 €.

Africa, Asia, Australia, North America and South America.

We reserve the right to change delivery methods and delivery charges.

The Finnish National Gallery’s online shop deliveries are handled by the Finnish Postal Service.

5. Payment

You may choose payment via:
– Finnish online bank services (Nordea, Osuuspankki, Danske Bank, Säästöpankki, Oma Säästöpankki, POP Pankki, Aktia, Handelsbanken, Ålandsbanken, S-Pankki)
– cards (Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, American Express, Eurocard, Diners Club, JCB)
– mobile service MobilePay
– invoice or part payment options offered by Paytrail

Paytrail Oyj (FI2122839) provides netbank related payment transfer services in co-operation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. For consumer the service works exactly the same way as traditional web payments.

Paytrail Oyj (2122839-7) acts as an implementer of the payment handling service and as a Payment Service Provider. Paytrail Oyj will be shown as the recipient in the invoice and Paytrail Oyj will forward the payment to the merchant.

Paytrail Oyj is an authorized Payment Institution.
