Images from the golden age of Finnish art in Gothic tones
Dark is the new black! JP Ahonen’s Dark Ateneum is a joyfully boundary-breaking pastiche coloring book in which the classics of Finnish art are given a dark, humorous, and slightly hellish new lease on life. The coloring book continues the collaboration between Tammi and the Finnish National Gallery, whose goal is to attract new generations and audiences to Finnish visual art. Art belongs to everyone – even to those whose colored pencils come only in different shades of black.
